Overview #
The estate at a glance: resource count, month-to-date cost with the change against the same span last month, utilization coverage, open opportunities, and active anomalies.

Inventory and changes #
Inventory is a searchable catalogue of every resource in scope, enriched with cost and utilization, filterable by type, subscription, region, and tag, and exportable in full.
Changes answers “what actually changed?” with exact diffs between consecutive snapshots — creates, deletes, resizes, re-tiers, re-tags, and moves — plus anomaly detection on change volume, so an unusual burst of activity is itself a signal.

Cost reporting #
Actual versus amortized comparison, trends, prior-period deltas, and breakdowns by subscription, service, and resource. Top movers surface what changed most. Forecasting projects the calendar month with confidence bounds and a stated accuracy measure.

Cost anomalies #
Seasonal detection on daily cost using matching-weekday baselines, so a normal Monday peak is not reported as an anomaly. Findings rank service and resource contributors, carry a review workflow, and export as evidence.
Opportunities and right-sizing #
Vendor recommendations and Flux’s own deterministic findings in one queue, separated into what is actionable now, what needs portfolio review, and what lacks evidence. Right-sizing and idle detection are computed from reconciled telemetry with explicit coverage states.

Allocation and showback #
